I definitely like this book a lot because it made me cry a lot:p My fave quote from the book is when Hassan says to Amir "For you, a thousand times over". It sums up the love and loyalty of Hassan to his best friend. Hassan will inspire you with his courage and optimism in troubled times, you would think whether such person ever exist. The plot centres on this one-sided but unique friendship, set in troubled Afghanistan. Yet this is the kind of friend I hope to be, one who would lay down her life for her friends.
