Alas, we are also caught in the fever of last minute shopping for the best buys in town. Me, sis, mum and dad went to Tebrau City to check out err…brassiere, shoes and clothes. Sounds weird that my parents would fancy a spot of shopping knowing that we can shop for hours but dad is way cool. He can shop for hours with us (more like patiently waiting for us to complete our shopping). Such patience - amazing that not many guys nowadays can handle the shopping hours. I will be amazed if any guys can take the challenge to shop with me. My record for shopping non-stop was 12 hours and boy...I'm curious if any guy can do the same.
Anyway, we shopped till Jusco nearly closed and tried on a million pieces of dresses yet alas, I only managed to find a pair of capri khakis which I think is so-so but great for casual wear. Not something I would like to buy but out of practicality, I had to.
My sis wasn't so lucky. She kept on trying but found only a blouse when she wanted work wear, shoes and strapless bra. Alas, she found none. Its that sense of disappointment that comes after all the effort to shop and finding nothing to take home. Its crazy but women find this weird sense of satisfaction in throwing money around to get clothings that they most probably will never wear again, apart from the trying session in the changing room.
After a gruelling session of shopping, everyone rushed for 'bak-kuah' sandwich. Superb when taken with white bread. Right after that, dad fell asleep snoring while mom busy herself with plucking ear hair of Duchess.
Just another shopping trip for the Loos. -Hoey Theen-
